As one of the leading faculties at Universitas Lampung, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB Unila) is committed to strengthening its position as a nationally and internationally recognized institution of economics and business education. In line with this commitment, FEB Unila has continuously pursued academic excellence, institutional quality, innovation, and sustainable development.

With its strategic positioning as a Smart and Green Faculty, FEB Unila has achieved a number of significant milestones in academic quality assurance and international recognition. These include accreditation from BAN-PT, becoming the first faculty at Universitas Lampung to obtain UKAS ISO 9001:2008 certification, receiving QS Stars ratings for excellence in 2011 and 2013, becoming a member of AACSB International, and joining ABEST21, an international business education network based in Japan.

Academic Excellence

FEB Unila offers a comprehensive range of academic programs in economics and business. At the undergraduate level, the Faculty has three main departments:

  • Management

  • Development Economics

  • Accounting

The Faculty’s undergraduate programs have achieved A accreditation from BAN-PT. FEB Unila also offers graduate, professional, and vocational education, including the Master of Management, Master of Economics, Master of Accounting, Professional Accounting Program, and vocational programs in Marketing, Taxation, and Finance and Banking.

In 2014, FEB Unila further expanded its academic portfolio with the establishment of a Doctoral Program in Economics, strengthening the Faculty’s role in advanced education and research.

Smart and Green Faculty

FEB Unila is committed not only to academic excellence but also to creating a comfortable, sustainable, and environmentally conscious campus environment.

In 2014, FEB Unila was recognized as one of the cleanest and most comfortable campus environments at Universitas Lampung through the GreenMetric initiative. The Faculty’s campus environment was also featured nationally in the television program “On The Spot” on Trans7 as part of a feature highlighting clean and comfortable campuses in Indonesia.

These achievements reflect FEB Unila’s commitment to integrating academic excellence with environmental awareness and a high-quality campus experience.

Human Resource Excellence

The quality of an institution is strongly determined by the quality of its people. FEB Unila therefore places significant emphasis on the continuous development of its human resources, including lecturers, professional staff, librarians, laboratory personnel, technicians, engineers, analysts, programmers, administrative staff, building officers, electricians, security personnel, and contractual staff.

To strengthen staff competencies, FEB Unila supports a wide range of internal and external professional development activities, including:

Lecturer Development & Global Engagement

FEB Unila continuously invests in the academic development of its lecturers through doctoral education support, international academic programs, conferences, research collaboration, and professional development.

The Faculty has supported lecturers through initiatives such as overseas sandwich programs, Academic Recharging Programs (PAR), international short-term training, joint international research, and visiting professor programs.

Financial support is also provided for lecturers participating in international seminars and conferences, enabling them to expand their academic networks, share research findings, and strengthen international collaboration.

These initiatives are designed to ensure that FEB Unila’s academic staff remain highly qualified, globally connected, research-oriented, and responsive to developments in economics and business education.

Student Development & Achievement

FEB Unila’s commitment to effective faculty management has resulted in significant institutional recognition. The Faculty was recognized by the Quality Assurance Institution of Universitas Lampung as the University’s faculty with the best performance in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

During the same period, FEB Unila also achieved recognition through outstanding lecturer and student awards at both the University and national levels.

FEB Unila maintains strong relationships with its alumni through dedicated networks and professional organizations. These include KAFE (Keluarga Alumni Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Unila) and ISEI (Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia).
