Partnership between FEB Unila and Lampung Food and Drug Agency (BPOM) to Assist the Digitalization of SMEs Undergoing Food Distribution Certification by BPOM

FEB Unila | June 14, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Lampung (FEB Unila) and the Lampung Food and Drug Agency (BPOM) have formed a partnership to support the digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) undergoing the food distribution certification process by BPOM. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the certification process and facilitate SMEs in meeting the required standards.

At the signing ceremony, the Vice Dean for Academic and Business Affairs of FEB Unila, Dr. Ernie Hendrawati, S.E., M.Si., emphasized that digitalization is key to increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of SMEs in the digital era. Meanwhile, the Head of BPOM Lampung highlighted the importance of collaboration between academia and the government to ensure the safety and quality of food products in the market.

These two collaborative initiatives demonstrate FEB Unila’s commitment to supporting economic development and community empowerment through partnerships with various stakeholders. It is hoped that these collaborations will have a significant positive impact on the development of village enterprises and SMEs in Lampung Province.
