Tokyo, Japan October 22, 2024 | FEB Unila and students of the Master of Management study program visited Lakeland University Japan. Lakeland University Japan (LUJ) was founded in 1991 in Japan and has more than 300 students from 40 countries. LUJ Vice President Anderson Passos, LUJ Dean Charles Laurier, LUJ Associate Vice President Charlie Stockman, and LUJ Business and Finance Professor Anca Todica welcomed the leaders and students of FEB Unila.
Activities carried out at LUJ included a campus tour and a short course delivered by Anderson Passos and Prof. Anca Todika. On this occasion, MM FEB Unila, represented by MM student named Shahnaz Rafika, presented community service activities to the international community with the theme “Empowering local product SMEs through cultural tourism in Lampung to preserve traditions and promote heritage on the global stage” which aims to introduce Lampung culture and traditions to the Japanese community, as well as SME products such as food and Lampung tapis woven crafts which are in demand nationally and internationally. In this activity, cooperation was also explored between FEB Unila and Lakeland University Japan in the field of tri dharma through student and lecturer exchange activities, research collaborations, international conferences, and community service activities.

This field study activity is related to the Global Business and Management Problems Seminar course. It provides added value for students to develop global competence, be ready to compete and contribute to the international business world, and support the internationalization vision of FEB Unila.
