FEB Unila Together with Regional Office of DJP Bengkulu Lampung Hold NGUPI PAI: Casual Chat to Discuss Taxes

FEB Unila | In an effort to increase the inclusion of tax awareness in tertiary institutions, the Bengkulu and Lampung DJP Regional Offices in collaboration with the Lampung University Tax Center initiated the NGUPI PAI activity: Casual Chat to Discuss Taxes. This tax regulation update activity was held on Tuesday (27/08/2024) at the Management Seminar Room, Building A, 1st floor, Faculty of Economics and Business and targeted lecturers who teach taxation courses.

This activity was attended by the Head of the Bengkulu and Lampung DJP Regional Offices, Rosmauli, accompanied by the Head of the Extension, Services and Public Relations Division, Sugiri Tejanagara, and the Extension Team from the Directorate General of Taxes. In his speech, the Head of the Bengkulu and Lampung DJP regional offices, Rosmauli, said that the aim of this activity was to provide lecturers with a comprehensive understanding of the latest regulations in taxation. In this way, it is hoped that lecturers can become agents of change in socializing the importance of taxes to students and the wider community.

Meanwhile the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. In his speech, Nairobi expressed his high appreciation to the Bengkulu and Lampung DJP Regional Offices for organizing this activity which was a follow-up to the Speaking Tax activity which was held last August 7 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung. According to Prof. Nairobi, “this activity is very useful for lecturers in increasing their understanding and competence in the field of taxation,” he said.

This warm discussion regarding tax regulations went smoothly and was attended by 15 lecturers within FEB Unila. It is hoped that similar activities can continue as a form of positive collaboration between the academic world and practitioners in improving the quality of learning in the field of taxation.
