FEB Unila, The University Technology MARA Malaysia Signs MoU
FEB Unila | Monday morning (03/09), FEB Unila collaborated with The University Technology Mara (UiTM) Malaysia. Chancellor of Lampung University Prof. Dr. Ir. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Unila Prof. Dr. Satria Bangsawan, S.E., M. Si. , signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Malaysia University Technology Mara (UiTM), represented by Asst. UiTM Vice Chancelor (Research & Innovation) Prof. Dr. Hadariah Bahron.
The signing of the MoU was also attended by four delegates from UiTM Malaysia, the Head of Unila PKLI UPT along with the ranks, the vice deans and the heads of departments / study programs at Unila FEB, and the Director of Lampung State Polytechnic Dr. Ir. Sarono, M.Sc. along with delegates from Polinela
The Chancellor of the University of Lampung in his speech welcomed the collaboration that began through the Faculty of Economics and Business. Prof. Hasriadi hopes, “Hopefully through this initial door of cooperation with the FEB Unila in the future it can be continued with other collaborations with UiTM, we have agriculture, engineering, chemistry,” he added.
Dean of FEB Unila Prof. Satria said that the collaboration with UiTM Malaysia included student exchanges, staff exchanges, and publication of the scientific work of each lecturer. “With the existence of this MoU, it is expected that the results of the research of Unila FEB lecturers will be able to increase their publication to international level”, he explained.
The signing ceremony of the MoU held in the building of Unila FEB was ended by the handover of placards and souvenirs from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung to The Universiti Technology Mara, as well as a joint photo session. After the event, the Dean of FEB Unila Prof. Dr. H. Satria Bangsawan, S.E., M.Sc. and the leadership invited the delegates from UiTM to visit the environment of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung. (Yandi / Sella)
