FEB Unila officially Launches the Innovation and Research Center, Learning Studio, and Digital Academic Services

FEB Unila | Faculty of Economics and Business Unila officially launched the Innovation and Research Center, Learning Studio and Digital Academic Services, Friday (05/03) at the Co-Working Space of the Entrepreneur Development Center (EDC) Building, FEB Unila. This activity was inaugurated by the Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. Heryandi with Vice Rector IV Prof. Suharso, Ph.D. and also attended by the Head of PMDT Service of Lampung Province, Dr. Zaidirina and the heads of Institutions, postgraduate Directors and Deans in Unila.

In his speech, the Dean of FEB Unila, Dr. Nairobi said that some of these facilities are the development of digitalization carried out by FEB Unila so that they can be reached by all Unila stakeholders and the general public. Moreover, Dr. Nairobi said that FEB Unila will continue to make innovative new breakthroughs so that it can become a leading institution that produces graduates who are ready to compete globally.

The new facilities and services include the Innovation and Research Center of FEB Unila, which is a regional reference center for research and innovation in the field of economics which aims to increase quality research, increase the number of skilled and competent experts, increase community service and create collaboration with government and other institutions.

Then the Digital Learning Studio is a digital-based teaching facility, equipped with digital devices that can support all teaching and learning activities virtually. In addition, in this studio there are also Podcast facilities that will be used for talk shows. Lastly, Digital Academic Service is an information system that makes it easier for students and alumni to get administrative services that can be accessed by mobile as well as to reduce direct interaction.

At the end of the event the vice rectors accompanied by the dean of FEB Unila conducted a live simulation by giving short lectures to international class students of FEB Unila online using smartboard facilities. As well as the Head of PMDT Service of Lampung Province, Dr. Zaidirina, together with the Head of the Innovation and Research Center of FEB Unila, Dr. Ambya, did a short talk show using podcast facilities with the theme “Smart Village”.

There was enthusiasm among the leaders and invited guests to take turns trying the facility and were interested in making similar facilities in each working unit.
