FEB Unila Holds Designation of Integrity Zone Development
FEB Unila | The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung (FEB Unila) held the Launching of the Development of an Integrity Zone (ZI), on Monday (19/02/2024) at the FEB Unila Student Center. This activity is a form of realizing a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) which was attended by the Vice Rector of General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Rudy, S.H., LL.M., LL.D. , Dean of FEB Unila Prof. Dr. Nairobi, S.E., M.Si. as well as teaching staff and educational staff within the FEB Unila environment.
In various matters, the Dean of FEB Unila said that the declaration of the Integrity Zone was part of the implementation of PAN RB Ministerial Regulation Number 10 of 2019, as an amendment to PAN RB Ministerial Regulation Number 52 of 2014 concerning guidelines for developing Integrity Zones.
Furthermore, Prof. Nairobi said the launch of ZI needs to be supported through mutual agreement and enthusiasm, in order to create a region that upholds the values of honesty. The six-point areas that have been assessed by ZI include; Change Management Area, Implementation Management Area, Human Resources (HR) Management Area, Performance Accountability Strengthening Area, Supervision Strengthening Area and Public Service Quality Improvement Area. “Later, evaluations will be carried out every three months, from February to December,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, the the Vice Rector of General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Rudy, S.H., LL.M., LL.D. saying ZI is not just a formality. After the ZI planning, a road map for ZI development and bureaucratic reform will be prepared. “It is important to know that the declaration of the integrity zone which is being implemented today is not just a wrap-up. “This launch is the beginning for us to achieve something better,” he said.
This activity was continued with the reading of the Integrity Zone Declaration pledge and the Signing of the Integrity Pact by the Dean and followed by the dean’s representative, which was then continued with the submission of a Decree for the change agent for the ZI WBK/WBBM work unit within the FEB Unila environment.
