FEB Unila Holds Cuak Mengan Pangan Balak Celebrating the 59th Dies Natalis with Alumni

FEB Unila | The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung (FEB Unila) held a celebration of its 59th Dies Natalis at Building B FEB Unila, an important momentum attended by the 10th Mayor of Bandar Lampung, the Rector of the University of Lampung and staff, the Dean of FEB Unila, alumni from various classes from the 1970s to 2020, and FEB students.

Carrying the theme “Be Strong: FEB Unggul Menuju Indonesia Emas,” this Dies Natalis celebration reflects FEB’s spirit to continue to contribute significantly in producing competent and highly competitive graduates. “FEB is ready to produce superior generations who will make the best contribution to the progress of the nation,” said the Chief Executive.

The Chairperson (Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Business) KAFE Unila in his speech also emphasized the importance of the strength of the alumni network. “Through this Dies Natalis, let us strengthen the network to improve the reputation and contribution of FEB Unila,” he said.

The Dean of FEB Unila, Prof. Dr. Nairobi, S.E., M.Sc., added his hope that this event would be able to encourage alumni contributions in improving the quality of education at FEB. “Collaboration between alumni, students, and faculty is the key to strengthening sustainable education at FEB Unila,” he said.

The Rector of the University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., I.P.M., who also opened the event. She gave her appreciation to the theme “Be Strong” carried on the FEB Unila Dies Natalis this time because it is relevant to Unila’s grand vision. “The meaning of ‘Be Strong’ is a commitment to become stronger and superior, both in Lampung and Sumatra. FEB is expected to be able to create quality human resources,” she explained.

The series of activities for the 59th Anniversary of FEB Unila includes various events, including cuwak mengan pangan balak, alumni gathering, best costume competition, napak tilas, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the development of the FEB Unila curriculum. In this celebration, FEB Unila also collaborated with 18 sponsors and 6 media partners, indicating broad support for the development of the faculty in the future.

The celebration of the 59th Anniversary of FEB Unila is not only a celebration, but also a strategic step in strengthening the relationship between alumni and Unila as a step to strengthen the role of FEB Unila in producing superior generations who are ready to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045.
