FEB Unila Held Virtual International Short Course 2021

FEB Unila | Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Lampung held an Intenational Short Course Program with School of School of International Politics, Economics and Communication Aoyama Gakuin University (SIPEC AGU) in a week on Sunday to Saturday (14-20/02) virtually. The event was followed by 25 students from SIPEC-AGU and 25 students from FEB Unila, also lecturers from FEB Unila, FISIP Unila, and practitioners from creative industry.

Vice Dean of Academic and Cooperation of FEB Unila, Dr. Ernie Hendrawaty said that the International Short Course is a form of short academic activity which combines a series of lecture, visit industry, case study discussion and cultural introduction activity. The materials given were Globalization in Asia, Indonesian Economics and Business Trends, Local Wisdom, Political Governance and Public Policy in Indonesia, Investment Policy in Indonesia, Local Wisdom, Indonesian Politics and Cultural Exchange.

Besides that, the participants was given the material from creative industry visit virtually to some practitioners of the creative industry in Lampung, namely: Kata Semesta, Waleu and Ical’s Craft. The participants saw the process of making Tapis, Veil, and also clothes with special ornament from Lampung.

Moreover, Dr. Ernie said that the event was the effort of the internazionalisation done by FEB Unila as well as the realization of the cooperation between FEB Unila and SIPEC AGU in students exchange program. Also, the program has been conducted since 2016 which in return the institutions became the host of the event annually.
