Entering The Age of 55, The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung Prepares a Digital Business Department
Bandar Lampung – Entering the age of 55 on 23 September, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung is preparing to major in Digital Business and Sharia Economics. These two majors will be realized to answer the needs of the times.
For Islamic Economics, it is still looking for the most suitable one between S-1 Islamic economics or accounting. As for the Digital Business, it has been carefully prepared. This was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Unila, Dr. Nairobi, when giving a speech at the 55th anniversary reception at the Student Center hall of the local campus today, Thursday, November 12, 2020.
To achieve this, the Faculty of Economics and Business is also preparing several professors who are predicted to be realized next year. Some of the lecturers who headed for professors included Toto Gunarto, Marselina, Mahrinasari, Einde Evana, Ambya, Sri Hasnawati, and Agrianti Komalasari.
He said that apart from preparing professors, a number of lecturers are currently pursuing doctoral programs in Malaysia. Entering the age of 55, said the Dean, the campus is also increasing cooperation with micro, small and medium enterprises. So far, said Dr. Nairobi, his party was working with Rumah Belajar in developing Lampung original coffee.
“We will make this coffee as a souvenir. We take it from the alumni’s own production. This is a form of synergy with alumni, “said Dr. Nairobi.
He also emphasized that his campus collaborates with many institutions. For example, with the South Lampung Regency Government, Pertamina Geothermal Ulu Belu, and others.
“For geothermal in UluBelu, we were asked to conduct stakeholder management research,” he said.
