DJKN Goest to FEB Unila

About 300 people consist of students, lecturers, and employees of FEB Unila are seen meeting on the Hall Bulding of FEB Unila today, Tuesday (10/4). They are participants of an activities series “DJKN Goes to FEB Unila”.

This event are promotional program and publication of the role of the Directorate General of State Wealth and Auction Office of the Ministry of Finance in managing state assets and running the role of state auction implementer. At Unila, DJKN does collaboration with FEB Unila and organizes the event every year.

Dean of FEB Unila, Prof. Satria Bangsawan who gives a speech says, knowledge about state assets is needed for alumni later. “Accounting Department can discuss about the removal of state assets, management majors can know the marketing strategy of the product by way of auction which is all useful” he explains.

Public lecture delivers by Kakanwil DJP Wil. Lampung and Bengkulu, Ekka S. Sukadana. He says that by the end of 2017 the value of fixed assets of Lampung Province is worth 62 trillion. seven percent of the total is managed by Unila. Unila assets are worth 4.8 trillion rupiah, with a campus of 97 Hectares. That number puts Unila in the ranks of the owners of large state assets in Lampung Province.

Kakanwil also reminds the role of students and society to keep state assets well maintained and actively used. “State assets should be (used-red) work, should not be silent, so that in accordance with the purpose of procurement of these assets” he explains.

The other series of events are the Signing of Cooperation between Kanwil DJP Lampung and Bengkulu signed by Kakanwil, with FEB Unila represented by the Dean. The show continues with online quizzes and games.

The series of events continues with the long-awaited auction session. After a short simulation, participants who have previously registered, actively participate in the auction. Goods sold auction are Mobile, printer, helmet, and exclusive bag.

The auction process runs tight and exciting. Participants follow enthusiastically, each time the auctioneer entices the participant to survive a bid at a higher price. Finally the auction produces 5 winners who bid the highest.

The excitement occurs when the goods are delivered to the winner. The auction committee gives a startling announcement. “We come not to sell, so the winner is entitled to bring his goods without paying, alias free” says the Head of KPKN Lampung region representing the committee. Participants cheer between regret and confusion, the atmosphere of the Hall added rumble.
