Yudisium for September 2018 Period
A total of 130 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung followed the Yudisium of the September 2018 Graduate Candidate Period, Tuesday (18/09). As for consisting of 11 Postgraduate Students, 77 Bachelor Students, and 30 Diploma Students. Also present were the Dean and Deputy Dean of FEB Unila, Members of the Faculty Senate, as well as the Chair of the Unila Faculty of Economics Alumni Family (KAFE).
In his speech the Dean of FEB Unila Prof. Dr. Satria Bangsawan S.E., M.Si said that this time the Yudisium coincided with the 53rd anniversary of FEB, according to him the graduation ceremony aside from releasing students who had finished their studies, as well as submitting to the Chair of the Faculty of Economics Alumni Family (KAFE).
On this occasion the Secretary of the Directorate General of DJPK-Kemenkeu, Rukijo S.E., M.M. was present. as a sharing session to motivate prospective graduates. In his presentation, Mr. Rukijo, who is also an alumni of FEB Unila, recounted how he struggled before starting from college to being like now.
“We deliberately bring in alumni who have had a successful career, which aims to give motivation and enthusiasm to graduates, that success requires hard work, enthusiasm, and never give up,” the Dean said in his remarks.
Prof. Satria hopes, for the alumni that the knowledge they have gained while in college can be applied, both from hard skills, soft skills, character, and religious. Even in the era of industrial revolution like today, graduates must be able to master language and information technology, so they can compete both in the national and international arena.
“With the accreditation of A that we have, and the first international accreditation outside Java, this will be the provision for alumni when opening jobs or seeking work can be accepted both in the national and international community,” he hoped. (Sella/Yandi)
