The Rector of the University of Lampung inaugurates the Co-Working Space Start Up Business FEB Unila

FEB Unila | The Rector of the University of Lampung, Prof. Hasriadi Mat Akin, S.E., M.Si. together with the Dean of FEB Unila Prof. Dr. Satria Bangsawan, S.E., M.Si. officially inaugurated the Co-working Space Start Up Business in the area of Teaching Factory FEB Unila on Friday (6-9). The co-working space was meant to be the area to be used by the students for practicing the ideology of working and creating ideas together by putting forward the concept of sharing. The room that is located in the second floor of the Entrepreneur Development Center Building of FEB Unila, was built for the students and was hoped that the students could be having a good value of competitiveness nationally and internationally.

The dean said “the Co-working space was built by FEB Unila because we want in the era of 2019-2023 as well as the milestone of FE Unila, could be the stepping stones for the students to have more valueable competitiveness regionally and internationally”. Moreover, He added that The university of Lampung which is now transforming into research university should have some alumni that having global competitiveness and also having the global entrepreneurship supported by the research done by the lecturers or the students. “Finally, the co working start up business is a medium to complete the practical study for the students as the future entrepreneur based in digital and industrial revolution 4.0.” added the professor in marketing.

The inauguration of the co working space was done after the activity of Jumat Bersih and Senam together with the academic civity of Unila. The rector and the dean did the cut the ribbon accompanied by all leaders of FEB Unila and continued by the reviewing of the co working space start up business of FEB Unila. There were also The Vice Rector of General and Finance Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Kamal, Deans from other faculties, the head of Postgraduate program, and the Senate of The University.
