Diploma III Taxation and Accounting Held Debriefing of Field Practice

FEB Unila | On Wednesday (08/01) around 137 students of Diploma III at FEB Unila attended the opening ceremony Debriefing of Field Practice (PKL) in the A1 Building at FEB Unila. The students of DIII Taxation and DIII Accounting will conduct the Field Practice at the Government Institution, Bank, State-Owned Enterprises, and also private company starting from January 9th, 2019 until February 22nd, 2019. The Event was opened directly by Vice Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Ambya, S.E., M.Si. There were also the Chairman of DIII Taxation Study Program R. Weddie Andrianto, SE, M.Sc., CA., CPA., DIII Taxation Secretary Ninuk Dewi K., SE, M.Sc., Akt., DIII Accounting Secretary, Chara PT Tubarad, SE, M.Acc., Akt., Head of Subdivision of Student and Alumni, Ani Lestari, SE, and Head of Subdivision of General and Financial Affair, Mira Sari, SE, M. S.Ak.

In his speech, The Head of Department of D III Taxation, R. Weddie Andrianto explained, “In this period there were two study programs that conduct the Field Practice namely DIII accounting and DIII taxation study programs, for the number of students there were 69 students from D3 accounting and 68 students from D3 taxation”. Furthermore, he said that there was a difference between The Field Practice in this period, “for this Field Practice we held separate programs from D3 marketing and D3 banking and also usually held in semester 5 this time held in semester 6 with the aim that students have sufficient knowledge to apply when practicing directly in the company or the place where the Field Practice occured, and can focus on working on the report when finished doing Field Practice because there will be no more courses.”

The Vice Dean of The Students and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Ambya, S.E., M.Si in his speech expected that the students could run the Field Practice well and properly and also the students could apply the given knowledge during the lecture so far because they have taken more than 110 credits so that the students will be more optimal by having adequate knowledge before conducting the Field Practice. “On the other hand, I also remind the students to always apply the good culture that they also do in FEB Environment which is, Smile, Greet, and Be Friendly” Said Mr. Ambya.

After attending the opening ceremony, DIII Accounting students received debriefing in room F205 From Ibu Chara PT Tubarad, S.E., M.Acc., Akt., Dr. Nurdiono, S.E., M.M., CA., CPA., And Widya Riski EP, S.E., M.Sc. In a separate room DIII Taxation students also get debriefing from the lecturers including Yunia Amelia, S.E., M.Sc., Akt., Dr. Tri Joko Prasetyo, S.E., M.Sc., and Ninuk Dewi K., S.E., M.Sc., Akt. in room F206. The participants received material about Ethics, introduction to the world of work, as well as guidance on Field Practice / internships delivered by each speaker. (Lidya/Jaya)
