FEB Unila Holds International Conference
Bandar Lampung | The University of Lampung’s Faculty of Economics and Business held an International Conference on Wednesday (11/07), held at the Bandar Lampung Horison Hotel which aims to showcase the results of research and to discuss research ideas, build good relations, and become a place to improve science . The International Conference of Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship (ICEBE) with the theme “Entrepreneurship Development in Digital and Disruptive Economics” presents three keynote speakers namely Dr. Gultekin Altuntas from Istanbul University Turkey, Dr. Erline K Ghani from UiTM Malaysia, and Dr. Kamarudzaman from UiTM Malaysia.
Present and inaugurate this event Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and ICT, Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi, S.E., M.Sc. in his speech said that this activity was expected to be a place to develop networks in the economic field and support activities such as this to encourage students to be interested in entrepreneurship. “University of Lampung has now become a Research University through international conference activities like this, hopefully it can improve the quality of Unila. Also present at the opening of the event was Vice Dean of FEB Unila in the General and Financial fields Dr. Fajar Gustiawaty Dewi, S.E., M.Sc. Akt. along with the head of the department and study program at FEB Unila. Chairperson of ICEBE Dr. Nairobi, S.E., M.Sc., said that this event consisted of two series, namely the delivery of the main material followed by web conferences and parallel sessions. In this international conference, there were 55 articles from local, national and several other countries which also presented their papers. In this activity, a Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed between the Unila Faculty of Economics and Business and Istanbul University which will be followed up with the making of the MoU in the future.
